This workshop demonstrates the potential of social networking sites as material for practical activities in and outside the classroom, a source for professional development and an opportunity for networking with other enthusiastic educators. Participants leave equipped with out-of-the-box ideas for using Twitter, Facebook and Youtube to introduce, practice and produce all skills during and beyond the classroom. This knowledge will not only help engage students in a progressive way, but also provide a means for ongoing growth as a learner and a teacher.
If participants have access to the internet, they will work alongside me trying out activities and pursuing networking independently.
