The main focus for many students is speaking practice. Despite this, reading and writing skills remain a necessary part of any ESL/EFL curriculum. This workshop demonstrates practical lesson ideas for maximizing the interaction students get with each other, the teacher and with other people in classes focused on reading and writing skills. Attendees participate in hands-on activities that aren’t simply discussion extensions of the theme, but actually practice the target microskills in realistic applications.
