They’re not the bane of our existence, or at least they shouldn’t be. Even with the best of placement tests, no class ends up with students of exact equal level. Students of widely varying level can be of great help to each other in comprehension, fluency and confidence. In this workshop, we explore how the perceived cons of multi-level classes can be turned into pros and try out activities that maximise the benefits of the relationship between the higher and lower level student.
