4C cJournal project

I’ve always liked the idea of a newsletter.  Something about having curated information, opinions and teaching ideas regularly emailed appeals to me.  One great one that I love is English Central’s monthly eNewsletter.  Another thing I love about our industry is the collaboration we have the potential for.  Being on Twitter and blogging has exploded this for me 1000%.

I never did one myself though because it didn’t really fit my intentions with Coursetree or 4C.  But now, I’ve been inspired and it brings me to one collaborative idea I have for next year: 4C cJournal project (collaborative journal).  Would you read a journal put together by your PLN?  I would.  How great would it be to have 100 different contributors of events, columns, reviews or news items put their ideas together?  Because everyone’s busy, I’m aiming to have one issue every 6 months delivered to your inbox, launching with issue #1 in 2013.

If you sign up below, you’re not committing to contribution, but only to supporting the idea by receiving it and reading it!

BUT, if you think this would be something you’d like to be more actively involved in once, twice or regularly, please fill out this Call for Papers below (submission guidelines to follow).  I’d love to work with you!

Sounds like a really good initiative. Count me in, please.

I like the idea, Tyson. But don’t you want to check first if there are already similar newsletters out there? I get Perlatech digest daily (http://paper.li/PearlaTECH/1319897462). Or do you have in mind something else? Not being critical, just trying to help you hone the idea :)

  5. Hi Tyson. Great idea!

  6. Sounds great Tyson!
I’ll receive and read. Don’t know what I could write. I’ll mull it over.

Hi Tyson, I’d be happy to contribute or just receive the journal.
